Inspiring Housing Community Land Trust achieves Register Provider status

Inspiring Housing CLT Board are delighted to have secured Register Provider (RP) Status which ensures we can start to implement our plans to bring more affordable homes to Great Manchester, with a focus on Salford which is where we are based.   

After over two years of hard work the Regulator approved our application on 13th January 2025 – what better gift to start the new year!. 

Inspiring Housing CLT are the first Community Led Housing Organisation in Greater Manchester to achieve RP status which will enable us to access the Government & Homes England Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) so we can build more homes for social rent. 

Chair of Inspiring Housing CLT Mike Duddy reflected that “This is a big milestone for a small community led housing organisation and an amazing start to our journey providing more affordable rental homes for people. We would like to give a special thank you to those who have helped us to achieve this first milestone including: 

City Mayor, Paul Dennett Salford City Council  for giving us the opportunity work on a shared housing development in Salford. Paul commented that “ I believe that we should be able to offer a variety of housing choices for local people. Inspiring Housing CLT is one of those options and by supporting a community organisation to achieve their aspirations Salford will not only see more funds invested in affordable homes for local people but also support the development and sustainability of a voluntary sector organisation”
